About Lola
Lola is sweet and pretty damn funny.
Although she is a Dane x, she's only about half the size as she's a cross Mastiff. She weighs approx. 40 kilos and is thigh height.
She has this somewhat harsh look about her which just doesn't match her personality but certainly would make people think twice about stepping onto your property.
Lola is a recent surrender from a family who was no longer able to care for her financially. At her previous home she was mostly an outside dog that would come in from time to her. Her family had another female large dog, a cat and a couple of 10+ year old kids.
At her foster home, she is an inside dog and so far has never had an accident, she is happy to use the doggy door. She absolutely adores cuddles and sitting next to you on the couch.
She's currently living with a male Great Dane and a male Labrador x. We would like to see her in a home with another dog that is suitably sized to play with her - she can be a bit of a tank in play so a smaller dog may get accidentally hurt.
Lola can be a little nervous meeting 'some' new people and dogs, in other situations, she's very confident.
Lola is currently learning how to live as an indoor dog, go for walks and general basic obedience and she's doing pretty well. Her new family will need to continue that so ideally they'll be big dog experienced.
The type of home we envision for Lola is one that would absolutely love her to be part of their inside family life and be happy to share a spot with her on the couch. They would walk her a minimum of once a day, play with her and continue her training. They should have a canine companion for her to play with and if there are children in the house they should be older so she doesn't accidentally knock them down.
Lola will be desexed and C3 vaccinated before she is rehomed.
