About Yogi ~ Maltese, senior, boy (Trial 3/6/16)
Hi, I am YOGI and I am looking for my furever home. I'm a 7yo Maltese boy and am currently living with 4 other small fluffy dogs and I just love everyone. I am placid, friendly, happy and super easy going.
My day begins with a morning walk to the doggy park which I just love. I do not pull on the lead and I am very happy to just walk past all the other dogs. Then I come home and I get a treat since I am always such a good boy and I hang out with my other fur baby brothers and sisters.
My foster mum is a yoga teacher (guess who gave me my name!) so she is home a bit through the day. I love to have someone around, so preferably my new home would be with someone who is not out all day. I am an inside dog so I am toilet trained and love relaxing around the house. I love the human teenage boys that I am living with and give lots of cuddles.
I would suit a loving home with kids or other dogs, but I do not need to have another dog around as I am very happy with my own company. When its bed time I sleep in my foster mum's room at the foot of her bed and I do not move all night. I really am the perfect little companion, being only 6kgs I can go to lots of places and I love the car.
My coat is non shedding but does need weekly brushing and clipping around every 4-6 weeks to keep me looking as gorgeous as I do now.
I am in care in Valentine, NSW, Lake Macquarie. To inquire about me please contact Carolyn on email:Carolyn@tradeserv.com.au or phone or text 0404 874 136.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
