Bear

Bear is a shy and gentle little man who is looking for an understanding and patient household. He has just come into care and is showing signs of having a neglectful and abusive life as he does flinch quite heavily when around people. But he hasn't shown one inch of aggression since being in care, all he wants is to be loved and doted on.
He is currently in care with multiple other dogs ranging from small to large breeds and has been with both genders and has shown no issues with any of his canine companions. He would be suitable in a home either as an only dog or with another friendly and social dog who can help him understand the world around him. He hasn't been around young kids so we can't say how he would go but due to his quiet and timid nature, we would suggest kids over the age of 10 to be safe. He has also met cats and seems to be fine with those as well.

Bear is around the same size as a standard beagle and is fully grown. He will require a household that is dedicated on grooming him as he will need help maintaining his coat and it's condition. He would also enjoy a household where he is allowed indoors to be loved and cuddled and a home where he can spend lots of time with his humans.
We would suggest secure and safe fencing, free from any holes or gaps as he is small so he may try and escape. But he hasn't shown any signs of being able to clear fencing as his current foster home has 3ft wire fences.
Bear would love a nice quiet household, one as a lounge buddy or a gentle and brisk walking companion. Maybe a friend for an elderly person or for a warm and gentle couple.
