About Pexie
Pexie came into foster care in a terrible state, completely obese and neglected. She is now fit and healthy, weighs approx 25kg (with a little wobbly skin) and is an absolute love muffin. She has also proved to be full of personality and rather smart! Pexie has clearly never received any training in her original home but is social with other dogs. She is still learning the art of introduction and play with them though as she has a tendency to run up to dogs in the park with great exuberance which can be sometimes overwhelming for small or nervous dogs. Pexie is great with kids but is definitely NOT suited to a home with any cats and will bark at them. Pexie loves a comfortable walk each day and enjoys chasing a ball in the park and a good swim at the beach. She is looking for a home where she will get lots of cuddles and attention and where her owners are dedicated to continuing her weight management and general training. Pexie is very human focused so a home with owners who are home a good amount of the time is important. She is house trained and her foster carers absolutely adore her and think she is the 'best dog ever'!" Pexie wakes them up with a kiss, knows their moods, places a paw on a lap or arm for attention and delicately takes food from hands when offered. This gorgeous girl certainly deserves a beautiful forever home!
