About Molly
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Molly is a very playful kitty with an independent streak! Her silky black coat has a sweet little white patch where her collar is, and is delightfully soft. Photos really don't do her justice!
This beautiful girl is full of energy and loves to chat. She adores a good head scratch, and absolutely LOVES to be brushed - she will happily jump up on her hind legs to rub her head on a brush or your hand if she can reach it.
Molly meows for her food and for playtime, and she will happily spend hours jumping around and swiping toys out of the air. Although she does not appear to be a lap cat, she will crawl all over you purring if there are treats on offer!
An absolute darling in every way, Molly can be quite reserved with strangers and will usually run and hide if someone she doesn't know comes to visit, but she is an affectionate little sweetheart with those she knows and trusts.
MY IDEAL HOME: ... is somewhere I can have some independence during the day, and is nice and quiet at night. I've previously spent my days as an indoor/outdoor cat, so access to a safe courtyard/garden or enclosure would be just fantastic.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am full of energy! Whenever I'm not napping I am always up for some playtime with my foster parents. My favourite toys are ones that fly through the air like a bird.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I can be pretty shy around people I don't know, so I tend to run if kids approach me. Perhaps a patient, older child who knows to be gentle with me and is willing to offer treats might change my mind about them though...
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm definitely used to being an only cat. In my old home I didn't seem too bothered by the neighbour's dogs as long as they kept their distance!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
