About Lulu
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Lulu is certainly one lovely girl. Her 'Australian' eyes (green and gold) will enchant you from the first moment you meet her.
Brilliantly relaxed and easygoing in nature, Lulu lives for a good romp with her little foster sister Annie, followed by a luxurious nap. She is confident in new situations and is quite food driven, so you could probably teach her a few tricks or how to walk on a lead. :)
Lulu has gorgeous silky soft fur, loves being brushed, and sheds very little. She will sometimes want to lie on your lap, and sometimes curl up next to you for good company. She's a chatty girl and just loves being involved in whatever you're up to (but understands she has to stay off the kitchen bench!).
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm quite adaptable, but I'd LOVE a home that has a nice view to the outdoors, and somewhere I can climb. I'm an active girl, so someone to hang out with (cat or human) would be really nice.
I've always had a feline companion and really enjoy playing, cuddling, and grooming my foster sister Annie, so hopefully you could adopt us as a purry pair! We do everything together (including sharing a litter box!) so we keep each other entertained. Double the love for the same amount of work!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm probably what you'd consider a 'cruiser' – happy to play and curious about what you're up to, but not super energetic. But don't be deceived, I initiate a good game of chase with Annie as often as she does! I especially love chasing after wand toys and 'playing soccer' with ping pong balls.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm pretty relaxed around humans once I get to know them, and I enjoy a good cuddle, so small humans sound fine!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I like other cats and have always had one to keep me company, which I think is great for play time and for nap time. I'm currently in foster care with Annie, it would be so great if we could stay together! She's like my little sister, so be sure to check out her profile too!
I haven't met any dogs or other animals yet, but with a bit of time I could probably get used to them too.

Adoption details

We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
