About Hooper
Introducing Hooper aka Hoops. He is a stunning 3 year old boy who we're guessing is a American staffy x border collie?, but who knows...
Hoops is a well trained boy who is eager to please and knows all basic commands. This young man has been very loved and well cared for, he came to us due to unfortunate family circumstances.
Hooper lived with a small dog before coming to us though hasn't been confident meeting new doggy friends and is learning to cope on his own.
Hoops is house trained, great in the car, is gentle, doesn't jump and isn't destructive.
It will take a little while for Hooper to settle into a new home and if you can be patient with him, you won't regret it.
Hooper would make a wonderful addition to any home who can continue to train, love and care for him.
Hooper gets very excited by cats so would be best in a cat free home.

Medical notes
Some of Hoopers medical history - Hoops broke his back leg as a puppy, this was surgically repaired with no complications. As an adult Hoops aggravated his ACL in the same leg and had a surgical stabilizing procedure done by a specialist. Hoops isn't at all lame or sore in that leg, though does have obvious muscle wastage and thickening of the stifle. He will no doubt have arthritic changes in that joint due to the surgeries his needed and in the future may require supplements to help support his joints.
