About Rufus
Rufus is a large six year old long stock coat German Shepherd in need of a new home. His owners have separated and they now do not have the time for him. Rufus is good with people and knows his basic command. He has lived with another female dog, however, we would prefer he be the only pet in his new home as he may not adjust so quickly to being around any new dogs.
Rufus has been found to be not good with smaller pets so care would need to be taken when he is being taken out and about.
We are looking for a home for Rufus where he receives plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. So it is preferred to have someone home with him most of the time and we would prefer a home with no children under the age of 12 only because Rufus is a very big fellow and he could knock little people over.
Rufus has proven not to be a guard dog as he is a big sook.
So please contact Jo if you can give this gorgeous loving dog the best home. Be prepared to discuss the type of diet and exercise you are prepared to provide for Rufus.
Medical notes
Rufus is desexed, vaccinated C5 is on heart worm prevention and is microchipped. Rufus is located at Hornsby and comes with his new doona bed and toys.
