About Flokey
Flokey is only 11 months and will grow to the size of a greyhound.
Flokey is an absolutely delightful young lady. She will need a home with people who are around most of the time and can give her lots of exercise and ongoing training for mental stimulation as she is a super smart. As she is super smart teaching her "doggy" rules has been easy, however her new owners must be prepared to continue on with her training regime.
Flokey will feel safest and happiest in the safety of her very own crateden, while her furparents go off to be humans for a few hours at a time (4 hours or so max).
If her new parents do need to be away during the week for longer periods doggy day care maybe an option as her foster carer runs a doggy day care/holiday care from her home a few days a week so Flokey is certainly used to a doggy day care environment with new doggies coming and going most days and she is good with all them.
(see picture of Flokey with Jasper an 8 month old Parsons JRT who Flokey met while Jasper was staying with Flokey's carer while his parents were on holidays)
She loves to meet dogs of all breeds and sizes and it is imperative that this socialisation be kept up as she enjoys playing and romping with them and has excellent recall when in off-leash areas.
It is preferable that she be rehomed with another young friendly, playful companion.
Flokey will be a wonderful, intelligent and faithful companion for a home that will make her part of their lifestyle and continue her training regime.
Flokey is currently being fostered in the Kellyville area of Sydney or meetings can also take place in the Sydney Park area of Sydney (St Peters/Alexandria area)
