Heckle & Jeckle *On Trial in Their New Home*

^HECKLE & JECKLE ARE TRIALING THEIR NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Are you looking for an instant doggie family?? Then you can’t go past Heckle and Jeckle! They’re looking for a fun-filled home where they can be together forever; will it be with you?

Recently rescued from Broken Hill pound, these gorgeous brothers adore each other and are never too far apart. They are friendly and affectionate without being overly licky or in your face though they do make good watchdogs when someone comes to the door. The boys are fine around cats and are great with the other little dogs they’re in foster care with though can be a bit unsure when meeting new dogs but soon warm up. They think kids are good fun and are better suited to primary school aged kids or older as they do tend to jump up a bit when they’re super-excited.

Since coming into care Heckle and Jeckle have learnt to sit for treats and quickly got the hang of their carer’s doggie door – they’re housetrained and sleep together in a crate inside at night. They are energetic little dogs who love to rough and tumble with each other or explore the backyard – sometimes they’re referred to as “double-trouble” as they like to ‘help’ with the gardening and have been known to dig a hole or two or remove a plant they felt didn’t belong! Being fostered in a rural area they haven’t spent much time on a lead so will need some practice at this in their forever home.

We would love to honour our promise to find Heckle and Jeckle a home together where they can enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle (They love cuddles on the couch at nightt!) and be part of the households’ goings on. Secure fences, daily walks or runs around the backyard and toys to play with will make this handsome pair very happy indeed!!

We’re not sure what Terrier breeds they’re made up of; they have soft, longish hair that they don’t lose a lot of which will need a good brush when required and perhaps a professional clip a couple of times a year to keep their coats in tip-top condition.
