About Bella ~ border collie, 1yo (on trial 24/06/16)
Meet Bella, a 12 month old, short haired Border Collie cross, with a lot of love to give. She is a wonderful girl and deserves a forever home where she will have lots of cuddles and love.
Bella is the perfect running or jogging partner, she walks well on lead and loves to get out and about. She always comes when called so she's fine off lead. Since being in care this quiet girl has not barked once. She even ignores other dogs barking in the neighbourhood. She greets visitors with a friendly wag of the tail.
She likes to play silly games sometimes - If you leave your socks laying around chances are, she will steal one. She loves attention and will lap up every bit that she gets.
Bella is very affectionate and boisterous. She can sometimes get overly enthusiastic with her affection and for this reason she would probably not be suited to a household with young children. She would suit a family that are home a fair bit as she is an extremely loving and loyal girl who loves having you around. She adores her humans and wants to be with them.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
