Summer

Summer is a loving and kind soul. Always happy to give you cuddles and slobery kisses. Loves to be the center of attention but can also sit quietly by herself. She is active and loves a good run and is great with dogs, once she gets to know them, and is always up for a rumble or a chase.

She sits, stays and lays down. Is house trained, crate trained and walks well on lead.

Summer currently lives with a desexed male of her own size and they have bonded really well so an ideal home would also include a similar size desexed and calm dog.

If you're active, Summer would be a great addition to your family. She'd also be suited to a tradie who wants a companion to take to work with them. She loves to be stimulated by new places, people and smells all day - this will actually tire her out at the end of the day.

Summer does need exercise so daily walks / runs and weekend outings are essential. She is fearless but can cower if you get angry so a gentle but firm approach is best. She loves a good ball chase and a nice marrow bone to chew. Will happily run around with the ball in her mouth while you chase her or sit for hours chewing her bone.

As lovely as she is, Summer is not good with cats or rabbits and will do best in an active home that will inlcude her in their daily lives, continue her training and socialisation and give her lots of love.

A home with another calm dog would be ideal or someone home most days would also suit.
