About Lady
Lady arrived into Wally's care along with her 6 tiny babies. She was the perfect mum to each and every one of them, even though she was severely underweight herself. Just 2 weeks later, Lady is looking amazing and is absolutely thriving in foster care.
If your looking for a family dog that's great with children, loyal, well behaved and has great recall, then you have to meet Lady! She is all that and more...it was clear that this girl had been failed by humans when she arrived, but the affection this girl has for her humans (males especially) is just amazing. Lady is an active girl who doesn't tend to spend much time sitting still just in case she misses out on what's happening around her, but is always welcoming of kisses and cuddles from her foster family.
Once all her babies had been weaned and moved to their own foster homes, Lady was introduced slowly to the host dogs in her foster home. Initially, they scared her, but her foster dad persevered with the introductions and it paid off. Lady is now part of the pack, running, playing and sleeping quite happily with her fellow foster friends.
We would love to see Lady find a home with an active family, preferably with children as she absolutely adores them. Lady would cope fine with being an only dog or having another furry friend to keep her company, but slow introductions would be ideal in this situation as she needs to know that she is safe. She is fully toilet trained and has been a perfect girl when inside her foster home. Lady will of course need ongoing training so a family/person who has the time and committment to do this is what we are looking for.
To kickstart Lady's training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Lady.
Lady will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. She is located in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast, NSW and is available for adoption now.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
