About Leah is on hold pending adoption
Leah is on hold pending adoption.
Leah is a gentle full black stock coated German Shepherd blend who is just over twelve months of age and is an active and very playful young dog. Leah is not an overly large dog and has come into care quite thin so we are working on settling her into a routine and putting some weight on her as she currently only weighs 22 kilos.
Leah has come into care from a Sydney animal shelter and her former owner never came to collect her. Leah is in need of loving home where she can connect with her family. Leah will need further lead training and she has never been shown how to walk to heal and we are teaching her to respond to voice commands.
She is an excitable young dog who would benefit from lots of playtime and exercise and a family who are active and willing to put time into her training. So we would definitely recommend her attending Dog Obedience Classes.
Leah due to her young age and size would not be suitable to go to a home with very young children as she would in her playfulness jump up. She needs a stable home environment and a secure yard and continued obedience training.
For more information on Leah please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Leah has been desesed, vaccinated C5 is on heart worm prevention and has been microchipped and wormed. She will be professionally groomed prior going to her forever home.
