Roco ~ 6mo Terrier X boy (On Trial 28/5/16)

Roco is a cute 6 month old Terrier X boy with a lovely smile. This small-medium sized boy is looking for a wonderful home where he gets some playtime, something nice to chew on and some cuddles.

Roco likes his routine morning walk – he is good both on and off lead and doesn’t want to wander too far from you. He has good recall and he’s not an escape artist. He is happy to sleep in a kennel on the back deck, but he mostly prefers to sit in his favourite chair on the deck.

Roco is often on the go, but he loves to sit down with a good chew toy or a nice bone. Roco is still very much a puppy and likes having something to do. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

Toilet training is ongoing and so is socialisation with other dogs, but Roco has improved a lot since we first got him. Sometimes he will ignore other dogs and sometimes he can be a little boisterous when he first meets another dog before settling down. Roco would be happy being an only dog so long as he’s got something to do and people to be with. He’s good when home alone so long as it’s not all the time.

Roco would suit a retired person or couple – he doesn’t need a lot of exercise and doesn’t pull on the lead. He finds routine comforting.
