Cleo ~ Mastiff x

Cleo: 1 year old Mastiff x. Meet the lovely Cleo, named so because of her amazing Cleopatra-like eyes. Cleo loves the company of people or dogs and is very affectionate. She loves cuddles and pats, and to have her tummy rubbed. Cleo is very energetic and playful and her favourite games are fetching a ball, and tug of war with a rope. She loves to play, and is very good with older children and dogs.

An adorable, happy, healthy and playful pup, Cleo is one girl with a seriously sweet nature. Being fit, active and happy, Cleo would make a perfect companion for a young family. However, Cleo is best suited to a family with older children and that have the time and energy to play with her every day and to continue her training. She also needs a family who will be patient with her as she is still in puppy stage – she will chew and dig when she is bored.

Being very gregarious, playful and full of fun, Cleo loves being around people and animals. She is currently living with another dog (an older female). As she is a very friendly and good-natured pup, she is easy to get along with and is constantly playing with her canine companions. While Cleo gets along with and loves playing with other dogs, she has displayed issues around food.

Cleo has a low maintenance coat and will grow to be a medium size adult. Being very smart, responsive and eager to please her human, she has quickly learned the commands for no, sit, come, and fetch very quickly. She is learning stay and down at the moment. She needs more work on learning how to walk politely on a lead.

While Cleo has been living with two older female dogs and some pups, she would prefer to be an only dog, given plenty of love, attention and exercise. Having said that, Cleo would cope in most situations.

Recently surrendered to Dog Rescue Mudgee through no fault of her own, Cleo is looking for a permanent home. Cleo is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped and lifetime registered. Her adoption fee is $300.
