Shelby ~ Kelpie (On hold)

Shelby: 7 month old Kelpie. An adorable, happy, healthy and playful pup, Shelby is one girl with a seriously sweet nature. Being fit, active and happy, Shelby would make a perfect companion for a young family, as she loves playing with children, although she also loves to jump. Being very gregarious, playful and full of fun, Shelby loves being around people and animals. She is currently living with 5 older female dogs and 3 older male dogs. As she is a very friendly and good-natured pup, she is easy to get along with and is constantly playing with her canine companions.

Shelby is learning basic commands such as, sit, wait and she is now able to walk on a lead confidentiality, she is also a bit of a barker. However, she is very responsive and eager to learn. Shelby has a low maintenance coat and will grow to be a medium size adult.

As Shelby has always lived in a home with other dogs, it is hard to predict whether she would be happy as an only dog. However, given plenty of love, attention and exercise, Shelby would cope in most situations. Shelby loves to give cuddles and feel safe in her owner’s arms.

Recently released from the pound by Dog Rescue Mudgee – a Branch of Dog Rescue Newcastle, Shelby is looking for a permanent home.
Shelby is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. Her adoption fee is $350.
