About Sarge
***SARGE IS LOOKING FOR FOSTER HOME WITH THE VIEW TO ADOPT****
Please let us know if you think you may be able to help us! Sarge has made his way back into rescue after a very recent scare when he ventured into a chook pen and consumed a corn cob, he was VERY sick and actually died on the operating table. The wonderful staff at Vermont Value Vet brought him back to life and removed the blockage. Sarge is a miracle dog and is VERY lucky to still be with us.
For those who don’t know stud man Sarge, in he simplest terms, he is just one energetic ball of love and fun! This happy soul has so much love to give and only wants love in return.
He will drown you in kisses and cuddles and you are guarenteed to laugh A LOT with him in your household.
Sarge is adventurous and also a little mischevious (so you will need to clean up after yourselves before he cleans it up for you!) He loves nothing more than being with and around people, he practically sticks to you like glue.
Sarge will need some training as he is a bit of a nipper in excitement and getting your attention. He also is not very gentle when taking treats. We will supply you with training to help over come these issues. With saying that we would prefer him to go to a home with teenager and a family willing to work together on these issues.
Sarge would be suited to an active human/family. He loves his daily walks/runs, play and loves to chase a soccer ball! He has a lot to learn but he is so thrilled to be guided and taught new things.
As a result of his high enerfy and underestimating his strength, he is better suited to an only dog home. He is more than happy to have a social outing with other dogs but he does like to play very rough and needs a strong leader whom will be able to tell when enough is enough (on lead interactions only of course)
If you are after an extremely trusting, loyal, playful and loving bully, Sarge is your guy.
He is so special and a one of a kind pooch, his tail NEVER stops wagging!
Open your heart and home to this little fella and you will be changing
your life for the better!
