“Lacy”, Love & Laughter. Melbourne

Don’t be fooled by her age, lovely Lacy can be as funny as a puppy! She has a cheeky, child-like character, and has kept her foster carers giggling with her quirky little ways. We could list some of her funny habits, like munching on leaves or turning herself into a dead-weight when she doesn’t want to go to bed, but really it’s the whole Lacy package that’s so endearing. Some greyhounds have a spark of personality that just plugs right into your heart, and Lacy is definitely one of them!

While Lacy is young at heart, she has the gentle habits of a mature dog. She likes a leisurely walk and is very easy on the lead, but also enjoys a good snooze on the bed or the sofa. She gets on well with her greyhound foster sister, but also likes her own space. She can give a little growl if she meets a dog that is unfamiliar or annoying, but is willing to play once she knows they mean no harm. Lacy has great potential to be cat friendly, and passed her first ‘cat test’ with flying colours. Her affectionate nature thrives on company, and she gives her foster carers an excited, vocal welcome whenever they come home.

With her soft fawn coat and bright, dreamy eyes, Lacy is a joy to look at and a delight to have around. Apart from the occasional (*ahem*) unladylike "popping", her foster carers say she is pretty much perfect!
