About Rhea
Rhea is very new in to care and came to us from Wagga Pound. She is quite shy and is most suitable to a quiet home. She doesn't seem phased by our resident shepherds, and gets a long perfectly with calm cats. She was recently introduced to our other foster cats and very calmly sniffed and greeted them straight out, and continued on her merry way. If another cat hisses or growls at her, she will return it. Otherwise she is calm and comfortable with them.
Rhea will need time to open up. She happily roams the house with tail held high, doesn't seem upset by sudden movements and is easy to pick up and handle. However she is not a lap cat, she is more independent and prefers to just do her own thing.
Rhea is still regaining condition after her time in the pound and before she entered the pound. After some love and care, she will develop a very luxurious medium coat.
She has beautiful markings and very soft, easy to manage fur.
Medical notes
Rhea is located near Leeton of New South Wales. Transport can be arranged to other locations.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
