About Argyle
She’s a lover!
Argyle is a smoocher – she loves her humans and is first to jump in your lap for a pat and cuddle. She can often be found curled up next to you on the lounge which she can easily jump up onto by herself. When given attention her tail wags so hard it might fly off one day (only joking!) and she will give you polite little kisses to show you her love.
Argyle has been in care with other puppies and dogs, both big and small. She has also met many other dogs at the off lead park where she socialises well but is a bit intimidated of the big rambunctious dogs if they look like they might squash her or chase her. However, she is learning that they are not actually trying to hurt her.
During her time in care, Argyle has been learning to sit, walk on a lead and come when she is called, and she is doing well. It is important that her new family are committed to continuing her training and socialisation as she is only young and there will be lots more things in life for her to learn and discover. Argyle is a small breed but this does not mean she doesn’t need exercise. She will need regular walks to ensure that she is kept healthy and happy.
We are looking for a home where Argyle will be allowed inside and be a part of the family and their daily activities. She will also need a warm comfy bed inside for her to sleep on so that she is kept out of the weather at night. It will be best if someone in her new family is home most of the time so that she can get the attention she deserves and she may even like another friendly dog to keep her company.
If you think little Argyle is the pup for you then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
