About Limerick
Look at that cute face!
Limerick lives life to its fullest. He is always ready to play, go to the park, explore something new or make new friends. Other dogs are his best friends – at least Limerick will try to make them be his best friends! He loves having doggy playmates and will definitely need a playful friend in his new home who will always be ready to have fun with him without being too rough. Although he is a small breed, he will need a dog at least his size or bigger to play with as he will jump on top of dogs shorter than him and not all of them appreciate that.
Once all the fun is over and it’s time for a nap, Limerick will find a nice comfy spot on the lounge for a snooze or will snuggle up next to you for a cuddle. Limerick is very friendly with people and eagerly greets everyone that he meets. He enjoys getting pats and affection but he’s no lap dog as there are too many adventures to be had.
Limerick is taking training in his stride. He has mastered sit, walks well on the lead and is now learning how to drop (lie down). At the off lead dog park he is very well behaved and stays with his foster carer. Limerick is virtually house trained and is also crate trained which is where he sleeps at night with the other foster puppies.
We are looking for a home where Limerick will be part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will need daily exercise to keep him healthy and happy, and his new family should be committed to continuing his training so that he reaches his full potential. Limerick must be allowed inside to be with the family and needs a comfy bed inside to sleep on as he does feel the cold.
If Limerick sounds like your newest family member then let us know!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
