Little Ted

Just look at that squishy little face!! Little Ted was born on the 11th Oct. to Satine (along with his brother Sasha, and sisters Sophia and Runty). Little Ted was always the weakest of his family, and given the horrid start to life his mum had, was very sick and under a lot of medication to get him to survive through infancy. Little Ted became blind very soon after birth, and needed special eye ointment applied throughout the day to restore his eyesight. This was no easy task... not only are we talking about a very tiny guinea pig eye here, but we're also talking about an uncooperative little baby that shuts his eyes so tight they were nearly impossible to force open!

Prevail we did, and after 2 weeks we had success with his vision clearing. Now off all medication, Little Ted is 100% healthy and fit, which is good and bad news for us, as it means it is time for him to find his forever family. We just love this fuzzball and his gentle nature. Loves to sit on your lap for cuddles while you are working, he has very much grown up knowing people are slaves to do his bidding. Just like nature intended.
