Wilma

Wilma was dumped sick and pregnant with loads of other guinea pigs, where she didn't stand a chance. Fortunately, some lovely people took some time out of working in their office to round up Wilma and her friends. All the workers had Wilma in their sights as they chased these fast, unhandled guinea pigs around, as she was the only one with brown and they all thought her the prettiest. Victory was achieved, with Wilma out-smarted and brought to our shelter, where she was able to receive care and medication to ensure not only she survived, but her two unborn babies would as well. Wilma has thrived in our care.

A very skittish and scared guinea pig, she's had gentle handling several times a day since she arrived, and has become a quiet and calm girl who is happy to now sit on your lap getting lots of cuddles. We're very happy with her progress, and feel it is time she continued her new love of humans in a home of her own. We'd like to see Wilma adopted with her daughter, Miss Perfect, also listed.
