About Nanook
Nanook (Nookie) is a handsome 2 1/2 yr old boy that has had a pretty bad start in life. Chained up in a backyard 24/7 and dumped at the pound twice simply because his previous owners didn't have the time for him.
Nanook is a beautiful natured boy that loves attention and is great with with kids. He has previously been an only and when we placed him in foster care with two lovely female huskies he loved playing and hanging out with them so he would be fine to be in the company of another dog.
The only problem is we discovered he can jump over 6ft colorbond fencing. So for his safety and our stress levels we have had to place Nanook in kennels until we can find a yard to hold him safely.
He knows his basic commands sit, wait and stay. He will sit and wait for his food and walks very well on lead on his own, but with another dog he will insist on being in front but doesn't yank your arm out in doing so.
Nanook could also be great in harness if that's they kind of dog your looking for.
We'd love to get him into foster care ASAP so he can get started with his new life and get all the love that he deserves. He's also available for adoption and we would take any interest in adoption for him.
Requires 6ft+ and dig proof fencing
We can assist with some fence changes to help secure the fence.
