About Smokey (Cat Tolerant - On Trial)
I’m Smokey and I am one of the most loving gentle boys you will ever meet. I get on great with other dogs big or small, cats, and children. I’m a great snuggler and will happily lay on the lounge with you all night if I could. I am currently in foster with five other dogs and four cats, and there are chickens in their own run but foster mummy says I am not allowed in there! I don’t bark at them though, and I’m so well behaved you would hardly know I’m there. I travel well in the car, I’m good on a lead, and I just give a little ‘wuff’ to let you know if I need to go out to do a wee. Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
