About Jake
Jake was found as a stray and taken to a pound/vet with terrible flystrike all over his bottom. There were literally maggots eating and worming their way through his skin, it was not a pretty site and was extensive. However, Jake pulled through with the help of some very dedicated vet staff, and although they thought his fur would never regrow due to all the damage, he surprised them by making a full recovery! He is now ready to find his new home!
Jake is very friendly and loves pats. An outgoing and confident boy, however, as he had many months at the vets recovering, he has become slightly cage territorial. Nothing too serious, but if you try to put food in without patting him then he will punch the descending vegies as if they were his worst enemy, and then ravenously devour them (he is quite obsessed with food, I suspect he did a lot of comfort eating while he was getting better).
Jake is very well litter trained, and a clean bunny. He would do best in a free range environment, where he doesn't feel the need to be territorial, and will just enjoy your company. He will be a very interactive bunny, with a huge character. After being confined, he needs to stretch his legs (and build some muscle, lose some fat, like most of us. Don't judge.)
Medical notes
Jake comes desexed and vaccinated.
