About Fergus the Staffy
Fergus is a beautiful boy who enjoys his creature comforts and loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch with his owners.
He enjoys training and knows a number of commands including; sit, lie down, wait and paw. He is extremely food driven, which is great for training and will take his treats gently and wait for his dinner. He has been an amazing tradie dog for his dad and is great for someone wanting a work dog companion.
Fergus has a gorgeous staffy howl to greet you when you arrive home or in the morning when he’s ready for his walk. He loves freshly washed blankets and snuggling up in the clean washing. He enjoys camping and the outdoors and will happily accompany you for hikes and beach walks.
Fergus is unsure of other dogs and can find interacting with unknown dogs stressful. Fergus requires ongoing training to support his confidence in this area, however with patience, time and training he has and will continue to improve in this area. While Fergus loves humans, he has found himself in need of a home as his family who adore him have had a baby, and he is not suited to a home with young children. For this reason no applications with children under 10 will be considered.
Fergus’ forever home should have:
• Enclosed garden
• No other pets
• No young children or babies
• Experience with larger breeds may be beneficial
We are looking for a family can will give Fergus their full love and attention as a member of their family, and lots of cuddles on the couch!
Fergus is located in Elwood. His adoption fee includes, desexing, microchipping and vaccination.
Medical notes
Fergus is a happy and healthy young staffy. Fergus is desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and is in good condition. Being a typical staffy, Fergus would benefit from a sensitive skin diet.
