Shauna a lovely little lady

Shauna is a sweet little girl who arrived with a very matted coat which had to be shaved. She was also quite thin and has been enjoying her good food and a warm bed.
Once Shaunas lovely longer fur grows back she will be a movie star. She is a beige and white girl with black on her ears. She has the longer body and cute front legs of a dachshund.
This lovely dog is best suited as an only dog. Humans are her focus and she tends to get jealous of other doggies. She is great with other dogs if humans are not close by. She prefers women but she does not have a problem with men.
Shauna has been learning to walk on the lead and is not aggressive to other dogs while out in public. She is a fast learner and is very receptive to commands. She isn't a barker and does not bark when you are out and about on walks.
She is very affectionate and just wants to be with you and to sit on your lap. She is not a dog to be left outside. She loves to play and run around with her carer and she loves her toys. She can barely control her excitement when you come home even if you have been gone for 5 minutes. She has such a lot of love in her small body!
She needs a yard or courtyard and uses a doggy door. An apartment is not an option unless it is on ground floor and has a secure yard she can access.
Loud noises worry Shauna therefore a quiet household and a quiet street with minimal traffic is a must.
Shauna is house trained and she sleeps inside.
