About Lenny
Male (entire) large cream. Stray
Lenny is a great dog who has proven to be dog friendly thus far. Unfortunately the gods have bestowed Lenny with what we call 'serial killer voice'. In other words when he meets another dog he gets so excited that all these crazy sounds come out of him and he sounds like he has murderous intentions. This has proven false so far as all he really wants to do is kiss faces and play.
Lenny has proven great with people although he seems to have minimal (if any) training, although we have been working on 'come' and 'sit' - see video. He is quick to respond however and seems very tuned in. He allowed the full body touch with no problems and isn't a jumpy dog. which is great considering his size.
When we introduced Lenny to the cat we were sure he had been held hostage by a cat in a past life. He shrunk to the floor and scooted backwards. After some gentle coaxing he realised the cat was actually quite friendly and started to sniff and lick the cat through the bars, all whilst staying calm, soft with a low wagging tail.
Medical notes
Health: Lenny does have a small (approx 50c size) lesion/growth on his right elbow. It does cause minor discomfort but is not infected.
