About Archie
Archie is an amazing dog who is a loving and devoted family member.
Archie is an incredibly happy dog and loves to be the centre of attention.
He really enjoys company and is a social butterfly which means if left alone for too long can get a bit anxious.
His energy is unparalleled and makes him a great jogging partner but he can be a bit too enthusiastic around babies and small children. Archie loves the water and will retrieve for hours if you let him, beach, river, pool, it doesn’t matter he is in the first chance he gets. He also loves to fetch a ball particularly if he can get some airtime.
Archie tends to get overexcited if he is around small animals, cats or dogs, so it is best if he is not around them. He can be a bit dominant, however if he is with a dog that matches his size and energy, Archie will play all day.
Archie loves a ride in the car, short or long, and has enjoyed quite a few camping holidays and interstate road trips. He will stick his head out the window if you let him otherwise just drop off to sleep.
Archie has been a very loved adopted family pet, however unfortunately due to changes in the family, they are unable to continue to adequately support his needs.
Archie has completed a lot of training and is an incredibly intelligent dog. He walks well on the lead however needs on occasion to be reminded that he isn’t the captain. He knows his road rules and will always sit before crossing. Archie also has a bag of tricks he loves to show off and is always keen to learn more, particularly if food is involved.
Archie is an affectionate dog that will greet you at the door and loves to join you for a cuddle on the couch if allowed. He is also create trained and will take himself off to bed when it’s time.
Archie would be suited to an adult household with good opportunities for exercise and being outdoors
Medical notes
Archie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
