About Patrick
Patrick is a super friendly affectionate boy who came in as a stray. He had no microchip and no-one has claimed him. That is their loss because he is an absolute darling and whoever adopts him will have a precious new family member! Patrick is very comfortable inside and uses his litter tray. He is quiet and very easy to have around.
AN UPDATE FROM PARTICK'S FOSTER CARER:
Patrick has settled in very easily. He loves to snuggle next to you on the couch and sleeps with us on the bed. He is very laid back with our cats although they are still a bit wary. They all eat together and I suspect they will start playing eventually. Patrick loves string, tunnels and chasing the ball so would be good with another playful cat. He has the loudest purr I have ever heard and is constantly having the cutest little conversations with us humans. He likes to sit out on the deck enclosure, on the scratch pole or a comfy chair, and watch the world go by.
He uses the litter tray without trouble and has not sprayed anywhere in the house.
Adoption details
Advertisement on PetRescue. I talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
I arrange a meeting with the animal and If all goes well completion of paperwork and payment is done through my vet. The adopter gets a receipt from the vet surgery.
I keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
