About Rowdy (Cat/Child/Dog Friendly)
ASSISTED REHOMING OF ROWDY BY WALLY'S DOGGIE RESCUE. LOCATED ON THE CENTRAL COAST OF NSW.
Meet Rowdy an unknown medium mix breed - who is listed as chihuahua / fox terrier on paperwork but looks more like Staffordshire Bull terrier cross Whippet.
CURRENT FAMILY ENVIRONMENT
Rowdy has been fine so far with all children and animals, he loves to play and the cat does get annoyed and swipes him sometimes. He sleeps in his bed with his blanket in his Mum's room and his bed is on floor at the end of my bed.
PERSONALITY
FOOD AGGRESSION - Rowdy will happily share his bowl with the resident cat and waits patiently to lick it clean. Rowdy has shown no food aggression towards the cat or his human family and can be approach and treats removed from him.
DOMINANCE - Rowdy has shown no issues with family members, other dogs.
PLAYFUL - Rowdy loves to play fetch and has been known to sneak into bedrooms and play with humans toys. This is corrected by keeping doors closed and using baby gates to keep him out of certain rooms.
FEARS - Rowdy's family have said that they haven't noticed any fears as such although rowdy isn't a huge fan of the car and he doesn't like walking on the wet grass.
LIKES/DISLIKES - He loves playing in under the hose or a sprinkler but has never been to the beach.
TRAINING - Rowdy can walk on a lead well. Rowdy will sit on command and return a ball in fetch but isn't very good at stay and does not have recall off leash Rowdy did attend some puppy pre-school but didn't complete the course. Rowdy is described as a very smart boy and will pick it up ongoing quickly. Rowdy is available for a meet and greet to his perfect no family. Rowdy is FULLY house trained.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Rowdy, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (Permission from your landlord a MUST), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Rowdy.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
