I am Monte

I am a happy guinea pig who lives all on my own. I would love to spend time with you getting lots of tlc.

I love to be handled but can be a little timid when it comes to being picked up. I am getting used to the noisy adoption centre here with cats and dogs and other small animals.

I would make a great family pet and a pet for children if adults are there to supervise and help out when needed.

I love food we are happy to eat grass but do need dry hard food pellets too to help us get our daily intake of goodness (we don't produce our own vitamin C did you know that?) So veggies and fruits are good too.

I do need a protective home as don't do well with extreme temperatures and would need to be in the shade if we are to live outdoors also to protect us from local wildlife too. I would be happy living indoors and outdoors on the grass during the cooler/or warmer parts of the day (temp depending)

I would be happy to live on own with lots of human attention or with another young male.
