are you after an active smart cuddly young kelpie cross boy to add to your family?

Then look no further my name is Kovu and I am looking for my forever home!

Being a young working breed cross I will need a lot of mental stimulation and physical exercise to keep me and my family happy. I am best suited to someone who has owned dogs before and is able to provide me with ongoing training. I am a quick learner and respond very well to reward based training so it should be fun for both of us.

I have seen lots of dogs on lead while at the shelter and I barked at some of them but I am easily distracted with treats. when my new family takes me out and about they should carry treats with them so I can be reinforced for good manners and calm behaviour around other dogs - I need to learn that there is nothing to be afraid of. Please avoid dog parks until I am more comfortable around other dogs.

When left alone my new family should leave me with chew toys a raw bone or a pig's ear to keep me busy while they are away.

I am a high-energy dog but I also like to cuddle with people - I would be happiest if I was allowed to spend time with my family indoors too.
