“Josie”, Puppyish and Playful. Brisbane

Josie is a pretty, shiny black girl, with a cute little white spot on her chest. She has lots of cute habits too, like collecting coat hangers and hair brushes and storing them in her bed! She also likes to lay down and wave one of her paws at her foster carers, as a sign of affection.

Josie likes to play and run around, although she seems to prefer sitting with her ball on the couch to chasing it! She has learned to climb stairs, and gives great cuddles. Her only difficulty adjusting to pet life has been some stomach upsets, which her foster carers are managing successfully with low fat food.

Josie has always had company around her—human or canine—so she’ll do best in a home where she’s never completely on her own. She gets on ok with her sausage dog foster sibling, but we think that she’d rather live with a similarly-sized dog than a smaller one, who can share in her exuberance. Josie hasn’t yet been introduced to cats or children.

If you want a gorgeous, playful, puppyish sweetheart to keep you laughing, then Josie is your girl.
