About Jade **On trial**
Meet Jade a gorgeous girl of 4 years old who has been busted out of Gosford Dog Pound this week by Wally's Doggie Rescue. Jade has been in the pound since Feb this year and it was time for her to come into rescue. We were told Jade is Dogue De Bordeaux x Staffy, but that doesn't explain her kink tail, snorting and pointy ears. Her foster mum suspects Jade has some French Bulldog in her, as her whole personality is very frenchie like in nature.
Jade is a stunning looking dog, with a gorgeous smile to match. Jade is in a family home environment, with children, other dogs and cats. As this stage, I would say Jade would be as an only dog or with a medium size calm male dog. Jade hasn't had much doggie socialisation in the past and is over the top excited when with another dog in the yard. Jade can jump up when excited, so best with children above 10 years old, although is easily corrected when told NO.
Jade can SIT, walks well on a lead, is house trained and crate trained. Jade LOVES her toys, especially squeaky toys and soft bedding to sleep on.
We do know that Jade does have some separation anxiety and will require 6 foot colourbond fencing to keep her safe. Ideally Jade's new forever home will be one that has her the time to continue her training and socialisation with other dogs, and works part time. Jade will require daily exercise, as she is said to be MEDIUM to HIGH energy level.
Jade had shown no signs of food aggression towards people in the pound and can be hand fed easily. Jade LOVES her humans and is very relaxed and a lounge lizard around her people. Jade wants to be inside/outside dog and does sleep inside the home, in her crate in her foster care home.
Jade is UNTESTED with CATS and POULTRY.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Jade, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (Permission from your landlord a MUST), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Jade.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
