About Elliot
Born on Easter Sunday, 27 March 2016 and cute as can be this little one is almost ready for adoption.
All of our team cannot understand why Elliot has not been chosen. He is cute as can be, with funny antics and the biggest puppy romp.
This little one is ready for adoption it's time for you to come for a cuddle Elliot so he can become yours forever.
Elliot has the typical blue heeler markings but amazingly he is like a little polar bear with his body a fluffy white. He has the cutest natural bob tail and the sweetest personality.
A member of our foster team will come and visit your house so that we know your yard is secure. It is really important you have done some research on the working breed dogs as his mum was a kelpie X red cattle dog and we don't know what daddy was.
We will discuss training and socialisation options and really encourage you to attend your local dog obidience classes starting from puppies to make sure he is well socialised.
While you are researching, another suggestion is to explore the benefits of crate training. Most of the dogs that come into the rescue are crate trained. This helps with toilet training, comfort and anxiety. Dogs learn to travel better and will be relaxed when staying at the vets for any extended period.

**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING AN ENQUIRY OR CALLING US!**
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
