About Opal and Panther
Panther and Opal are two beautiful semi long-coated black kittens who are looking for a loving home together. Opal is female, Panther is male.
We tried to rehome these babies separately but it turns out they are closely bonded and really need to be together ❤
Panther is the most outgoing, and is the "big brother". As soon as he sees his humans his motor starts.
Opal has a very affectionate and inquisitive personality and she loves to “talk” to you. They are both very inquisitive and playful. Opal is becoming more affectionate as she gets to know her people better.
Opal is a little more self-contained but she does love attention too. They will play together for hours, always finding something to keep themselves amused, whether it be something you want them to play with or not!
They have been my assistants here in my office for the last 10 days or so and are fascinated with my keyboard, mouse cursor, pens, bits of paper and pretty much anything else!
They are both litter trained and since they were rescued have spent all their time indoors. They are comfortable with our small dogs.
These lovely cuddly kittens will make wonderful companions for someone looking for one or two new feline companions.
As normal we do prefer that our adopted cats are indoor cats for their own safety and the consideration of your neighbours and our native wildlife. There are many options now for exposing indoor cats to the fresh air such as enclosed decks, garden tunnels etc.
“It is best to get two kittens instead of one from the start in a totally indoor situation. It will provide companionship and also help you to get over feelings of guilt associated with leaving one kitten on its own while you are at work. Having two kittens relieves you of some of the burden of having to stimulate and exercise it as they will happily wear each other out playing and then collapse in a heap to sleep.”
