Angel ~ 10mo Boxer X girl (On Trial 15/5/16)

Angel is a beautiful 10 month old Boxer X girl. She is a very good girl and loves attention and cuddles.

Angel loves going for a walk and is great on a lead. She has a lot of energy so it’s good to let her off at leash free areas and give her a run as she does come back. She particularly loves a run in the bush, investigating with her lead off. Angel likes going to the river and jumping in the water for a swim. She also likes going in the car. She thinks it is fun to have a gentle nibble at your toes, fingers or elbows.

Angel is an outdoor/indoor dog who will snuggle with you on your bed if you let her. She also likes her outdoor bed where she spends her time during her day. Angel is fairly well house trained (only one accident ever and that was first night nerves) and will go to the toilet if you repeat the word “toilet” to her whilst outside. We always tell her she's a good girl as she is very smart and wants to please. She would love to do more training with her forever family.

Angel is a great watch dog and will let you know if someone has come to your house. While she will eat virtually anything, Angel has learnt that if she wants a snack she needs to sit (even if her feet are doing a little tap dance). She will poke at the inside bin to see if there’s anything good in there if you aren’t careful. She does love her food.

Angel would be suited to an active family who has another dog as a companion or someone who is home a lot. Because she likes to jump up a bit, she would be better with older kids (approx. 10+). That is something she is being trained not to do, but is still a work in progress. Whilst at the vet she did not seem interested in the kittens in the foyer (only their food), but we aren’t sure how well she would get on with cats.

Angel likes to play silly games sometimes - If you leave your socks laying around she might steal one. Don't be surprised when trying to give her a belly rub that she nibbles gently on your elbows. She loves to be the centre of attention and will lap up every bit that she gets. She is a wonderful girl and deserves a forever home where she will have lots of cuddles and love.
