Mumble

Mumble is an angel. He is looking for a dedicated owner who will love him and give him the most amazing life he deserves.

He has been in care for 4 months and has become very close to becoming a permanent resident as I just love him so much, but one of my cats does does get along with him. I will be very sad to see him go.

When he arrived he was a very broken soul. It was clear he had not been cared for adequately for some time both physically and mentally. But he has learnt to trust- he is changing, learning and developing. Patience will be the key.

NOTE: These experiences and observations have been with myself only. It is likely he will be reserved and even hide from a new person, but slowly come out.

Mumble has a gentle nature and craves love. A scratch behind the ears and under the chin brings out a purr! He adores being picked up and snuggles into you and purrs.

He is a smoocher and constantly rubs up against my legs when I go into his room. He has begun to head butt my hands for attention. As with many Ragdoll cats, he is vocal and loves to have a chat.

He has a playful side and likes to tap he feather on a stick and even chase a ball. He also likes to do happy paws (kneeding) on soft things! He is so sweet.

He comes and jumps on the bed for a cuddle and also adores his own bed. He sleeps with his humans every night and loves nothing more than being snuggled up against you. He loves being a lap cat and is always on my lap every night.

Mumble is a quiet boy and needs a "safe place" in his new home. This ideally will be a low traffic spare room or study when all his necessities and belongings can stay. For him this is a haven he can go to and feel safe and comfortable. A place to retreat when exploring becomes to overwhelming or he gets a fright. He still has a strong flight response to many things.

Mumble would happily live a solo life, but a small friendly dog would not bother him. He is am currently living alongside a Maltese. Mumble would prefer a him with no other felines. Mumble will not cope in a house with children or one where children visit regularly.

Mumbles coat was shaved due to severe matting and neglect. His coat is growing and will become a long and luscious and will require lots of brushing and maintaining to keep him looking spunky.

He must be an indoor cat.

Mumble is approximately 5 years old and is fully vet worked with a clean bill of health. He has had some dental work with a few teeth removed.

He currently eats Royal Canin dry & wet food.
