About Rocket
Rocket is truly the rock star of our neighbourhood! A gorgeous ten month old Kelpie, he's playful, inquisitive and really friendly. Rocket loves to play with other dogs and is very even-tempered, not even batting an eyelid if other dogs are aggressive. People fall in love with him straight away!
Rocket is excellent to walk with and is great with kids and other dogs alike. He is affectionate and loves regular company. Rocket is not a barker, but he is a very handsome heart breaker!
Being just a young fella Rocket does still like to jump up to say hello and is still working on his indoor training, but he is learning commands fairly quickly.
We think the world of him and whoever adopts him will be a very lucky person.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
