About Roadie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*ROADIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet rockin’ Roadie the Boxador with a heart of gold! She’s looking for a forever home with perhaps another playful dog for company; will it be with you???
Recently surrendered to us as due to an illness her adoring owner could no longer walk her or give her the attention she needs. Now Roadie has settled well into foster care where she’s been having fun with the households young Rotti x Kelpie; this pair love to play!
Roadie is one of those great natured dogs who wiggle and waggle, almost turning themselves inside-out, as they’re just soooo happy to see you! You can tell she has been well-looked after and loved; Roadie really enjoys her daily walk and starts out strong on the lead though soon settles down to a comfortable pace. Her owner put time into her training so she knows “sit” and “down” as she does jump up a bit when excited. Roadie loves food and takes treats ever so gently so this will help with any further training you might like to do with her. She adores people and likes to touch you or be right beside you and will happily follow you around all day. This friendly, affectionate young girl is good with children though a home with school aged kids would be best as she may accidentally bowl the little ones over when she’s extra happy!

Roadie is not normally a “yapper” though will give a warning bark when there’s a reason to making her a good watchdog. Being 18 months old she is over the worst of the “digging and chewing” though has on occasion been naughty. She’s toilet-trained and well behaved inside so we’d like to see her enjoying an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in her forever home. Unfortunately she’s a bit rough with her foster carers cats and shows a little too much interest in her caged birds, so a home without either would be the go.
Loveable Roadie would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either another friendly dog for company or on own her own though only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she may get bored and up to mischief. Secure fencing and a good sized yard, daily walks, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Roadie very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
