About Try
Darling Try was saved from a terrible fate, while heavily pregnant. She had been a drover's dog in outback NSW, but unfortunately she wasn't very good at it and so she was discarded. Lucky for Try, some very special people got her to safety with us and she was able to raise her pups in a loving family environment!
Try's pups are all grown and adopted now and she had a month long stay at a lovely doggy spa, to recover and rest, leaving her now ready to find her own forever home.
We're pretty sure the reason Try didn't do well as a drover's dog, is that she was born in the wrong body! Try seems much more suited to having been a Maltese, or an Italian Greyhound - she's an inside lap dog, who loves to be with her people as much as possible!
When left alone outside for long periods, Try will make use of her border collie legs and hop the fence, to go look for company! She will require either tin/colourbond fencing or fencing with no foot holds, in her new home, in case the lure of who could want to be her friend, gets too much for her! ;)
Try just loves being inside with humans, and is fully house trained. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and would do well with a calm, friendly dog in her new home. She is not however suited to a home with cats or other small animals, as the urge to stalk and heard creeps in from those pesky border collie genes! Try would suit someone semi retired or who works from home, she would like to be someone's constant companion and be inside with them most of the time.
Try is in care in Croydon
Medical notes
Try goes to her new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated
