About Lylah
Lylah really amazes us with how she handles herself, after spending her whole life locked in a laundry. She has shown that a truly amazing spirit really can handle themselves in any situation.
Cross over to now, she is being socialised with both dogs, and cats and also people of various ages. She is making slow progress and will need a home that can continue this on.
Lylah needs a home that is calm, confident and patient with her as she is highly timid and under exposed to her surroundings. She can happily live in a household with cats, as she has no issues with these and another calm and friendly dog may be suitable as well. She has been socialised with both large and small dogs whilst in foster care. Due to her size and also her timid nature, a household with young kids is NOT suitable so teenage kids only if there are some in the family. A house that has secure and safe fencing, especially with no gaps underneath is also a MUST as with her timid nature she can sometimes try and escape if scared enough. A house that allows her indoors for most of the day is ease tai as she does find comfort in these types of surroundings.
She is a low energy girl, not overly requiring or requesting exercise and she would be suitable in a home with an elderly person or couple as a companion for comfort.
Her new home must be prepared to work with her, expose her to the world slowly and according to her comfort levels and a home that understands she is quite timid in storms as well.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
