About Beauty ~ Staffy x (On trial 9/05/16)
Meet Beauty - As the name suggests, Beauty is a remarkably beautiful, happy, loving and affectionate doggy. She is a 16-month-old small Staffy mix at 14kg . She has a fantastic temperament and is great kids and other dogs. Beauty is super playful and loves 'Tug-O-War' and will play with anyone who steps up to the plate. When it’s time wind down, Beauty enjoys an old fashion cuddle on the couch and a pat on the head.
She is an inside and outside doggy, spending her day playing with her foster siblings, exploring in the garden and lounging in the sun. She comes in a night to spend time and relax in the kitchen and couch with the family, sleeping inside on her bed. She adores company and loves to sit by us while we work from home.
Beauty is very clever, knowing basic commands and already being house and toilet trained. She is exceptionally good on and off lead no issues at all and very good at mixing with other dogs in a large or small group environment.
She’s currently in care with two other doggies who she enjoys playing and relaxing with. Beauty is very respectable and listens to their body language and understands when enough is enough and it is time to settle.
We think Beauty would be best suited to an active household and/or with another doggy pal with a yard and a family who isn’t gone for long periods during the day. She was previously living with her adopted family in inner-city Sydney, but due to work commitments they could not provide the care she needed.
She has seen cats bit has not chased them, so would need to be tested if her potential family has a feline friend.
Beauty had a very hard start to life, being dumped with her four sisters at only 24-hours old on the Fernleigh Track. They also had cleft palates, which were repaired by some incredible vets, bottle-fed and nursed back to health by the amazing DRN team and she's pretty as a picture and in good health now with no ongoing issues.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
