About Lola ~ Labrador x Mastiff (on trial 20/08/16)
Hey there!! Look over here at me!! Hi I'm Lola!! Now that I've got your attention let me tell you a little about me - I'm a 6 month old Labrador X Mastiff puppy with a zest for life and a flair for the dramatic! I'm a wiley rascal like Wiley Coyote and I have a zip in my step like the Road Runner! I have big brown doe eyes that look at you innocently and will melt you - even when I’m being a cheeky rascal.
I love to run around the house at full puppy speed and encourage everyone to chase and play with me. I'm in foster care with 3 other female dogs and kids so I have an abundance of play mates. Did I mention that I love to play?! Yep I do - it's my favourite thing! Actually I have lots of favourite things as I'm just that sort of exuberant friendly personality type - I don't have a care in the world! Do you know what one of my other favourite things is? Pinching my foster family's clothes (I love bras!) when they are in the shower! I'm not even subtle about it as I love a game of catch-the-cheeky puppy if you can!
Because I'm such an active little cracker my best home ever would be a very active couple or family with older kids, who will teach me to be a running companion. I'm still too little to be a jogging partner now however I have aspirations for big things when I grow up as I'm such a go-getter. If you live on small acreage with a dog meshed yard I would be in my element - I could pretend I'm a working dog with a very important job to do and then crash out with you inside to recharge my batteries! One day my foster mum couldn’t find me anywhere and then she discovered I’d crept into one of the kids beds for an afternoon siesta – I was very tired!
I love other dogs so much so I'd love to visit the dog park with you. I'm no shy petal so I'm quite happy to introduce myself to others for pats and attention. I would love a home with another friendly playful dog who can keep me entertained and who will be a role model for me as I grow up.
Did I mention my other favourite thing? I love to make you laugh with my crazy antics! So if you like to laugh, if you aren't precious about me stealing your underwear and your toilet rolls, and if you have a zest for an active life just like me then you need to call my foster mum Nicky, like, right now to arrange to meet me!
My foster mum’s number is 0481 750 807 and her email is foxhurley2012@gmail.com. I’m in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW 2285 (Newcastle area).
My adoption fee is $350 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
