About Marley
Hi! My name is Marley. I was rescued after locals saw me living on the street for about a month. People thought for a while I was just escaping my yard every now and then but it became longer and longer between each trip home and nobody ever advertised that they'd lost me!
Someone finally stepped up and took me in, and rang Off The Chain for help. They got me vaccinated, wormed and chipped right away and I have now spent 21 days in foster while they searched for my owners. I don't think they want me :( as nobody has responded to any of the ads. Oh well - maybe I can do better than them for a family anyway - maybe it's you!!
I am a sweet, smart little girl who loves to be around humans. I get along with other dogs well but when I am on a leash I feel very nervous so will yell at them to leave me alone! At the off-leash dog park I am fine though. I just need a little bit of love and I will be the perfect pet. I am a small-built, and affectionate girl with a really soft coat. I love to be brushed and to play with balls.
Adoption details
There is a pre-adoption questionnaire that you can fill out to express your interest in one of our pets. Please message us to ask for one. Then we can meet up in a park or at your home to decide if this is the right pet for you! If you have other pets it would be ideal to bring them with you.
Adoption comes with a one week trial to make sure you are the perfect fit for each other and there is a contract for you to sign so you know we are all covered. Everyone is vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and desexed for adoption. If puppies and kittens are too young for desexing, this is added into a special clause in the contract and the surgery is pre-paid at the time of adoption. Then when old enough, the pet can be sent for surgery at no cost.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
