About William
Kid Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Dog Friendly: Yes - needs work on small dog socialisation
House Trained: Yes
Energy Level: Medium
Hello everyone meet William. He is a lovely little dog bursting with love for everyone.
William has settled in well to his foster home and has learnt that he is not the master. He is full of energy in short frequent bursts but in between is very content to sit and chill either by himself or near his foster mum.
In the short time he has been in care he has learnt to walk well on a lead (with the use of a halti) and sits on command. He is learning he gets no attention when he jumps up and has started to sit relaxed when he wants a pat. His foster mum is sure he'll be easily trained provided he is given strong boundaries as he simply wants to please people and get love in return.
He is great with his larger doggy foster brother but can be dominant to dogs smaller than himself. He is working on it, but at this stage, is probably more suited to being an only dog or with a larger sibling.
He has previously lived with cats and knows to leave them alone. He also pays no attention to the birds nesting in the garden and loves the neighbourhood children when he's had the opportunity to play.
