Daisy ~ 6yo Maltese (on trial 2/05/16)

Drum roll please for Daisy the 6 year old Maltese Terrier X. Daisy is a sweet girl who loves human attention.

Being a Maltese breed of dog, she has a long thick coat which requires regular grooming every 4-6 weeks to keep her trim. Daisy needs to be brushed daily to ensure she doesn’t get knots in her coat.

Daisy is best suited to a home with a family and better with children over 10 years old. She is still very active and can get under feet so wouldn’t be suited to the elderly. She can also take time to warm to some males.

Daisy is currently in care with 5 small dogs who she is getting on well with (she likes people more) and she also lives with an indoor cat (The cat can be scary though so she tends to keep away). Daisy is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.

Daisy came into Dog Rescue's care in January 2016 pregnant and gave birth to 3 beautiful Maltese cross puppies who are also available for adoption - they are 8 weeks old (Sophie, Sammy & Bobby).
